for streeter. 25 yard touchdown raiders and the lead they took in the locker room. >> yeah, mark, i saw quite a few bend ups, the raiders were really going after it today. they were determined to hit the long ball and i saw good routes and great throws across palmer. >> turning the ball over in this. it makes the ball come down and gives the receiver a good play on it. >> the same number, any way. the number 3 for the bomber. there you see t.10-7. one of the interesting things, we were alluding to it in that set of highlights a moment ago we saw the raiders have a touchdown get called back. interestingly enough, tampa bay in this game had 14 penalties called against them. giving up a total of 115 yards. the raiders had less. just 9 for 80 yards. here we are talking about a raider loss and we are always saying cut down on the pepts. they did. -- penalties they did. by comparison. >> they came at the wrong time. every time we got momentum

deep ball. we knew we had to control martin. >> you guys came in with a bit of confidence, winning two in a row, but did you feel like, okay, we are going to have to outscore these guys or did you think you could hold them down. >> we thought we could stop them. we have a lot of confidence in our guys. >> martin, i know the game plan for him, what kind of runner was he? what surprised him. >> a good running back. strong and fast and he makes good cuts and plays. >> there seem to be a lot of penalties out there. you were able to take advantage of some of their appellant penalties. you guys were within three points, late in the ball game. it is as something ster yes. we never thought we were out of the game. we came out and fought every play. we take pride in that fight and play. and even when we are down, we are down 18 at one point. we knew we were still in the
5:04 pm
game. we make the plays down the stretch we can whip the game. >> appreciate you taking the time to speak with us here. pwrafrp, safety for the raiders as we said, few -- branch, safety, for the raiders as we said we saw them making a lot of catches today. other than that, it was -- it was a pretty good thrashing right here. >> thanks a lot, fred. never easy job to do get in the locker room when a game goes sour like it did particularly in the second half. we will return, again, the big story, doug martin and how about 515 total yards given up by the defense. martin, from oakland. the story continues jack, you said you wanted a whole new breakfast item. i give you... flap jacks.

25 carries, 251 yards and 4 touchdowns. first back in nfl history to rush for three touchdowns of more than 45 yards. and as we mentioned earlier, he had some 60 friends and relatives in the stands to watch him do it. he was born in oakland. and we will talk more about him. right now we want to go back to fred inglis. >> reporter: it seems like he has become a favorite target. he throw 60 times for 400-some yards. 4 touchdowns. seems like you know coming in throwing was going to be a big part of the offense today. you had to play catch up.

receiving core. looked like the receivers and carson palmer were not on the same page, that is perhaps why three interceptions were taken by the buccaneers. remember now, the raiders came in with a two game win streak and they felt good but it was against jacksonville and kansas city who started 2-13. raiders still have some work left to do here in the second half of the season. >> seems like one step up and two steps back right now. thank you. we will visit with you later on. carson palmer, 414 yards passing. that is probably not an indication that he had a good game as far as a team concept. usually means you are having to heave the ball when you are behind. >> there was three ints and a lot of other missed

opportunities. this was a game of big plays. tampa bay made -- >> explosive. >> passing and running game. we tried to counter with nice plays but we just weren't successful. didn't put the pass rush or the pressure that i think it would take. >> i know you were screaming for that as we watched the game together. remember it was 10-7. raiders lead. then tampa runs over the raiders literally, doug martin was just getting started and looking real good in doing that. you see freeman in the 3rd quarter start to air it out a little bit. like you said, he didn't have a lot of rushing around time out there. he had it going on pretty good. you see an attempt at trying to get that, michael huff missed it. 37 yards to the 14. and then it is just -- from
5:12 pm
there lots of problems continuing for the raiders defense. look at what huff tried to do here. tried to make the numberception. williams gets free -- interception. williams gets free. and it continues, second and goal. the fake. freeman looking with a nice touch. touchdown. 21-10 bucks. look again. >> absolutely, you know, he had the ball going to all his receivers. when you get your running game going, the whole offense is wide open to you. we couldn't stop the run. that is something we usually rely on, and we didn't get pass rush. >> there you see the beginning of the problem for palmer. picked by johnson. have another look. moore hadn't turned around when that situation got going and
5:13 pm
then we see doug martin again, gone. >> i want to tell you, what is this about this open area? doug martin, marshawn lynch, maurice jones-drew, all under 6 feet, solid, one of the producers referred to martin as a solid nugget of muscle. >> 67 yards on this touchdown. all those guys from oakland and none of them playing in silver and black. maybe scout them better and get them in raider uniforms. 28-10 as the raiders defense allowed 21 points in that 3rd quarter and things looking bad. we will come back with more, take a look at how it all shook out in the final quarter at the

5:17 pm
70 yards. touchdown. 35-17. do the dance in front of your home guys out there. >> this was a case of the good, the bad and the ugly. lot of good things but there was poor things like tacking and no pass rush. >> the raiders offense to their credit came back with a touchdown to myers. 35-24. they continue on. and palmer to reese. 13 yards. made it 35-32 with a two-point conversion and then they get the ball back. all they need is a field goal, however palmer two interceptions in the forth quarter. you can't do that. from there tampa goes in, a record setting performance for the tampa franchise. 4th touchdown of the day.

[ laughter ] >> nugget of muscle. the interception by palmer, that was all palmer. couple good things, red zone, we have been terrible in the red zone over the past six games or so and this game we got more people involved, the tight end, reese involved, we scored the two-point conversion. there was much improvement in terms of the red zone. hopefully we can pick up on that and above everything else, raider players, keep playing hard like that, i think the fans will stay with you and we
